Renown List

Is it possible for us to get a public renown listing?

How do you mean?

Like, a list of who has what renown? In theory it should be public, right? We should know how honored or glorified a Garou is...

Last session was more of an experiment. In general, a Galliard can ask us for that information in general, and a Theurge can inquire with the spirits for specific information but it will generally not be provided completely publicly.

Maybe we could get periodic renown lists on the Galliard forum? This would represent periodic silver record updates, and give us Galliards a benefit which would help us do our jobs and give us something to make the auspice worthwhile?

I mean, Theurges get preferential treatment from spirits, Ahrouns get more respect as warriors, Ragabash get to insult people without being punished, and Philodox get to be the personification of Garou justice. Galliards get... what? The delightful right to do homework for every session? Having access to a list of renown would let us do our jobs better, and would give us a niche.

Just my thoughts.

I don't disagree. Two things. One, keeping track of Renown as per a Harpy in Masquerade lies within the power of the Galliards, without any ST/NPC intervention necessary. Were the PC Galliards to take a stranglehold on Rites of Accomplishment, for instance, this could be accomplished fairly easily.

(Aside, each of the Auspices can wield a shocking amount of power if they work as a unit.)

Secondly, if this information were to be provided from the Spirits to the Galliards, that would be a deal that would need to be worked out in character. It would be necessity be less accurate though, as you're asking the staff to do work, an always dangerous proposition. :p
