An Ice Spirit Arrives 11/25

A shimmering spirit of ice appears at the bawn, flashing and twirling politely.

*dietrich will approach it and waits patiently while he calls for Walker*

While waiting, the spirit blurts out in English...

"Hello. This is a recording. I mean, I think you'll get that. This is on right? Okay good. Hi, this is Skunewan, I guess I'm head priest. I mean," pauses, then continues, his voice seeming a bit more sure of itself, "I'm the head priest of the great Stone Giants. We should talk. Yes. Let's talk. Shall we? Praise Gaia and all that. "

The spirit then pops away in a puff of logic.

(The Spirit will pop up and deliver this same message to every Garou who appears on the Umbral Bawn on 11/25.)

(Will it give us a chance to reply?)

(Nope. It's clearly not a well commanded spirit.)

"If we can be sure that the spirit was from the stone Giants." Artemis says. "I think you remember the last thing they said to us was "come back and we'll kill you." They stomped the Old Bull's house. You don't attack an Elder of the nation and then say, "Sorries!"

"They might not be offering an apology. They could want to talk for many reasons, including a formal declaration of war. From the stories I know it is always better to hear the Giants out."

Well I will take the Information to the Alpha!?! Does anyone know anything first hand?

As the Spirit recording kicks off, the new Theurge shrugs.

"They're big. Uncomfortably big. It seems good to go to the Alpha with this one."

After a beat, he adds "and to ask around about what might be felling Giants."

He walks off.

"Look, Dietrich, you don't have to go bothering Seta about this. He's pretty clear about what he feels about the giants. According to him, they should not be messed with. He's going to say, 'What part about my saying do not mess with the Stone Giants was unclear? Are you people stupid?' And tails are going to get ruffled, hackles are going to rise, and it's a bad day for everyone."

Artemis shrugs. "Now I'm not saying we do nothing, I'm just saying that if this is a problem that the collective wewants to poke our snouts into, that collective we need to do that on we own. I'm happy to share what I know, but it won't be here and it's not going to be now. I've about had it with going on a scouting mission only to look behind me and find 10 bored pups that feel like cutting their teeth on what was supposed to be a snatch and grab."

J arives some were in the middle of the comotion.

er..... oh this is goin to end badly som a-hole is going to go talk to them them and or atack them then the next thing we know we will be at war all over agen.

Walker arrives, somewhat belatedly.
