| Dany is doing the same thing as Steelheart-Bankroll, but in his own way. He spelunks, digs and dives as needed to get pieces of the buried past. As the site is an ancient Caern, the Umbral tunnels will still exist for a time and he makes use of these when the material world tunnels become impassable. Daniel makes use of Osprey's gifts and Granite's friendship and Sea Drake's blessing as needed to aid him in finding things submerged:
He retrieves the few bodies that remain buried despite the Nightmaster and Antihelios, dedicating these to himself along with the decedents' possessions and carrying them out through the Umbra. If stopped, he explains he isn't going to allow the dead to be further desecrated by those who come after and will bring these honored persons to be reburied in another Caern or the new Caern.
He makes sure to grab any artefacts he can and drudge them up. He knows others are also searching, so he makes objects near the surface easier for Bankroll's team to bring up, including finding those items submerged or buried and drudging them up for those teams. Deeper objects he brings up himself and also carries out through the Umbra.
Those objects which are too large or immobile, such as carvings, he awakens them/views them in the Umbra and has them recite their history, sending those thoughts as well as pictures of the carvings to a packmate to be recorded. Then those objects are defaced or destroyed to protect the Veil.
Daniel makes note of any outlets from the Caern that would allow something to easily get in from below, or places that would indicate that the cave was not natural to humans and notifies Steelheart-Bankroll, suggesting those places might need a visit from Lava or Earthquake.

| With time and much hard work, the cavern-turned-depot begins to fill.
Up towards the front of the cave is salvaged mundane gear. About a dozen largish crates represent the gear taken from the armory, ranging from swords and axes through mothballed Vietnam-era military weaponry. Another four crates hold the medical equipment salvaged from the infirmary. The remaining half-dozen or so crates are filled with miscellaneous personal effects. Not all of those are necessarily identified at the moment; they're sort of jumbled together in a "We'll sort this out later" fashion.
Midway down the cave are artifacts. These are packed with more care than the mundane stuff, of course; some of these things are fragile, and many of them are old. A general effort has been made to sort out the distinctive tribal items by tribe, but not much more than that; too much effort is going into dredging this stuff up to devote a lot of time to organizing it alphabetically. The stack is roughly as large as the mundane stack.
Fetishes have been set apart from other artifacts--or, at least, former fetishes. Thus far, every undedicated fetish recovered seems completely inert, drained of spiritual energy. Still, they have been put aside for later examination.
The third collection, near the back of the cave, is packed with quite a bit more care and precision, for it's the physical remains of Garou. Here, a great deal of care is going into making sure that each box is labeled. As a result, thus far, this is the smallest of the three collections.

| Asya speaks up, addressing those working.
"If anyone was staying here at the caern and needs a place to settle, I can house people at my residence. I'll help relocate anyone that needs assistance as well." She smiles shyly as she makes the offer.

| The trucks are able to pull into a secluded area near the tunnel outlet, which has been temporarily blocked off to traffic.
Hauling the crates out down the access tunnels will be a pain in the neck--but probably quite a bit easier (and more subtle) than taking them out through the Falls themselves.

| *Miguel, taking periodic breaks, begins to load the items onto the trucks.* "Don't bother sorting it here, just load it and go. We might not have all the time in the world." | |

| As Bankroll's spirits locate and bring artifacts to the party, he helps sort the items and takes careful note of the spiritual status of the artifacts. Shaking his head in disappointment, he reverently places the hollow fetishes in their pile.
Earth spirits are enlisted to smooth away carvings, both decorative and structural. Caverns are reshaped to appear to be natural formations once more, and when needed, strategic tunnels and rooms are collapsed. He agrees with Daniel on the recovery of all the deceased and their possessions, from the full Hall of Heroes, not just the most recent fallen.
As the trucks arrive, he helps Miguel load everything until no sign of any Garou presence across all history remains here. |

| OOC: And an influence spend should have the trucks proceed without notice. |

| Once Steelheart-Bankroll adjusts his methods slightly to suit Daniel, Daniel begins to let Bankroll direct him along with the other resources he's using, obviously moving in autopilot. Daniel works for days without ceasing, face flat of all emotions but distant sorrow. | |

| Little by little, piece by piece, you bury the past.
The trucks come, are loaded, and move away. Some go to various mundane storage sites; some to more exotic safehouses.
The kinfolk do their part, using their influences and positions to keep prying eyes away.
Perhaps a week after the fall of the Sept, one of the Kinfolk approaches--a Fianna kinfolk, to be precise, named Tom Sullivan. Tom works as a grounds supervisor in the Parks department, and is generally reliable and level-headed.
At the moment, he looks puzzled. He's carrying an envelope, and waits for someone to acknowledge him, not wanting to interrupt operations.

| Sullivan nods. "Fella who delivered it seemed to know who I was...he knew how to talk around what he was actually saying."
In the envelope are a pair of tickets to a performance of Kafka's "The Metamorphosis" at the Alleyway Theatre, along with a terse note: "You might find the experience informative."

| Bankroll looks at the tickets with similar confusion and asks the courier, "Can you describe this individual? And when did you see him? During the day or night?" |

| "Another Ratkin prank, perhaps. I'll go to the actual show in case there is more to see than the metaphor. They seem to have decided to tolerate me."
Daniel moves to take the ticket and, presumptively, to go take a shower and grab a nap now that the weeks of labor are finished.

| "Yeah." Sullivan scratches his jaw thoughtfully. "He was about medium height, dark skin, bald, sharp dresser. One of those guys where you can tell he's older than 20, and that's about it--you know the kind, never seem to change once they hit a certain point. Came in around noon, so not one of those, unless he had access to some SPF 5000 sunblock. Had an accent...maybe...Kenya, by way of Oxford?" | |

| *Miguel seems less puzzled than... intrigued* "Cultured enemies are the worst.... Cultured allies the best. Coming this close to the fall of our caern, and the arrival and banishment of the Dragon? Even if I could believe in coincidences, I wouldn't believe this is one "
*He looks up* " Let us hope for an ally, be prepared for an enemy."
*Looks up* "Asya," Miguel softly calls " I think a softer touch than mine would be good for this. Bankroll-rhya, respectfully, I cannot believe that his choice of performance is an accident. Either it is a call out to your tribe or a threat to it. I think you should lead this?... *He looks around again...* And perhaps you should take Clint as well? The velvet glove, the iron hand, and the tactical nuke. Let us show him that he is not the ONLY one who can send a subtle message?"

| *Smiles* "I am less sure. Still, If they want to be allies, than they will have to play nice. If they don't want to be allies and think this is our moment of weakness?" *he looks at Bankroll* "Suffice to say, that person I was thinking of as the tactical nuke was not the Ahroun." | |

| Bankroll nods to Miguel and replies, "Good plan, Miguel. I agree, the choice of show does seem targeted for my tribe. I have a theory or two, one of which would signal an ally, but let's be safe about this."
"And I can easily get us the third ticket for us.
"Asya, Clint? Ready for a night out?" |
