Mammoths are not difficult to find on the grasslands. They do, however, tend to travel in herds.

"We need to observe the heards and ID the weak and old, those that tend to stray to the edge of the heard, once we find a target we can isolate it from the rest drive the heard away with scent of man and feast on mammoth flesh!"

No. We are here for a purpose. This is not a pleasure cruise nor an idyll. Additionally, hunting in the lands that the tribe whose aid we seek may consider their own without asking is rude.

"I agree that we need to speak with the tribesmen before any sort of hunt takes place, and perhapes we can hunt with them to gain their trust? but our gnosis has a higher pourpose then abating hunger for a day and i would be hesitant of going to long without food to give us strength"

If gnosis becomes an issue we can grab rabbits and fish as we go.
