Rites Question

So, why do Rites require 3 Garou to participate? The book says they can be performed solo or with a group.

Okay, that's the entry I was looking for. Thanks James. So, the default is multiple Garou, but some Rites don't require it. Examples include Binding and Talisman Dedication, which both mention a single Garou caster, instead of a group.

I'd have to look for it, but I've been told that you can cast a ritual with fewer then the minimum number of participants required... but its harder and if you fail it fails spectacularly.

I'm wary of hard and fast rules for Rites, at the end of the day, this is religion. That said, 3+ for all but minor rites and personal rites will never steer you wrong.

Shotgunning Rituals is always an option, and yes, it can cause some serious blowback.
