A lonely shack in the middle of nowhere

*Miguel, after having called, EQ, Howls at Dawn and Asya, leans against the shack door, sitting on the porch on a bit of property in the middle of nowhere in Niagara county.*

Andi pads up in lupus, black fur sleek in the sun, and her wing pendant jostling around her neck. She headbutts his knee in greeting, then sits beside him to wait.

Asya walks up, taking a seat by Miguel's right side.

Daniel follows Andi in, then shifts up to Crinos. He's brought rope and blankets and wooden poles in large abundance, the tattoo of these bundled goods slipping off of his paws and into his arms as he transforms. He begins to set up a second layer of shelter around the shack, almost a privacy curtain around the perimeter, with as much help as his survivalist packmates choose to provide. He then digs down about three feet into the dirt at the mouth of the enhanced enclosure, setting down kindling and building a small fire. The building now vaguely resembles a sauna or smoke lodge, capable of cleansing more than one pack if necessary, and adding ritual ambiance to enhance contrition's formality. It would be difficult to sneak into blurred with the outer blankets hanging low. Inside the actual shack, nothing is changed.

Making absolutely no effort to be sneaky or silent, Artemis drives up with the Troubleshooters in a large teal blue Jeep, fitted for off-roading with a license plate that says, "TRBL SHOT" and a Plushie Fox on the dashboard. Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off" is loudly playing from the enhanced sound system.

She spills out, along with Steelheart, Mitch, and Clint. "Oh, my God." she says, her eyes widening. "They have a blanket fort."

Ylva approaches the Silver Fangs and stands beside Asya, folding her arms over her leather jacket with an eye toward the Triubleshooters as they approached.

Artie takes out the letter. "We recieved an invitation."

Steelheart approaches with Artie, standing one step behind her and to the left.

A large winter wolf pads out from inside the shed

*Nods*

"You did.", Miguel says.

"It was I that sent it. You asked for contrition, and you picked the place..."

She looks at the Get of Fenris and back to the Silver Fangs, "You guys joining packs?"

Eastman emerges from behind the shack, casually walking onto the porch once the two packs are within at least rough conversational distance.

Artemis' eyes narrow, and her fingers twitch. Her tone, however, doesn't change. "We got invited to the blanket fort, guys! How cool do we feel right this moment?"

EQ emerges from the tent to attend the Troubleshooters as well.

*looks from Eastman and back to the new arrivals with an arched brow*
"Ultima Ratio and Iron Wave will soon be a single pack, yes... and we decided on another new addition. Have you met Mr. Eastmen?"

Asya beams at Artemis, cheerfully ignoring any sarcasm in the other Ragabash's tone. "Yes, Artemis-rhya. Sometimes it's cathartic to engage one's inner child. If you look closely, you may also see resemblance to ritual spaces used by many cultures throughout the world as well. I wonder if it's a coincidence that ritual spaces should be so comforting."

"So it's a ritual space, too?" She looks confused, but then shakes it off. "That's good. I have a rite that I'd like to perform once Contrition is performed. It's an old Fury ritual that I think might help this... situation."

She gestures at the large number of unexpected Garou in front of her. "Let's get this out of the way, first. We're ready for the rite."

*Gestures for Artemis to enter the blanketed area and the open door to the shack beyond.*

She nods, looks back at her packmates, and strides into the little shack.

Asya will accompany Artemis, still smiling pleasantly as she tucks a lock of golden-white hair among the ginger behind her ear.

(Description: There isnt much room in the little shack, not once everyone walks in. A single lightbulb hangs from the ceiling. A single chair, sturdy and steel, in the room and bolted to the middle of the floor sits encircled with U-bolts. A small wooden table in the corner.... a shelf, empty, on the wall. The room smells like bleach, as if very recently scrubbed clean. The lack of windows makes it impossible to tell where one is and if it is day or night out... the heat from the bodies makes the room very warm, and the shockingly well insulated building keeps the heat and sound from escaping, making it simultaneously claustrophic.... and if one was by themselves, shockingly lonely. )

A confluence of emotion spills over Artemis' face as she surveys the little shack. "You were serious," she says with obvious dismay. She leans on Mitch. "Please, continue."

(We are going to pause here to give the players not on currently a chance to respond)

Asya looks sad as she looks about the small room. She takes a position behind the chair, hands folded primly as she waits for the others.

Daniel looks uncomfortable and sad.
