The grizzled Garou scowls slightly at yet another new face wandering up, but his response is polite enough,

" This Wolf is Heart of Anubis, Elder of the Silent Striders, Philodox of the Nation, Alpha of the Scimitars of Hell, it would be his pleasure to accompany you once the Rite is complete. "

Mitch sets up the Rite of Cleansing. It looks right, even if there's too much fire and minor pyrotechnics to be true to the classic Rite. Still looks correct, however.

Mitch puts out the various points of burning he's started. "That should do it, Elder. Welcome!" He starts to offer his flask, then stops. "Not sure if a welcoming drink is your custom or not, sir."

*Inclines his head to his elder.*

Forgive my lapse, Elder. I was startled to see family.

*Gives a short bow.*

Heart of Anubis gives a properly formal bow in response to Castillo,

" No offense seen or taken, you are assured. "

*Nods* When you have had your look around, if I might pick your brain on a matter of Law?

" You will accompany us. It has been said your Caern is very extensive. There will be time to speak while we walk. "

*pauses for a second mid sentence and his brow furrows and then smooths*

Asya waits with deference for the Elder to conclude his business to enter the Caern.

When the warder arrives, she gives a genial smile. "Yes, it was. Thanks for meeting me. I am Serebro Pitchka, Cliath, Ragabash, of the Silver Fang and kin to the Castillo Family. I've come to lend a hand here, as needed. I've spent some time in Europe, and wanted to see what America was like. Following close behind are two other cousins of mine."

She shoots Artemis a wry look, trying her best to seem serious. "I hear you best be quick. Exclusives are going fast. Wouldn't want a rival publication breaking the latest spoilers, right?" The moment quickly breaks as the grin sneaks back across her lips, "Thanks for the warm welcome."

The Warder nods,

" You are welcome here. Mr. Castillo has been a valuable addition to our Sept. I look forward to seeing what your bring to the table. "

He hesitates, and then,

" With due respect to the Elder, all the new arrivals will need to go over the Falls. "

"This one will lead family once the latecomers have caught up," Lily assured the Warder. "I will see this done, Harley-rhya."

Lily sat on her haunches and looked expectantly for the rest of Asya's companions.

Artemis shrugs, it's a point what's been done to death and she's tired of arguing.

"Just so everyone knows, the leap over the Falls is not just an adrenaline rush, it's a test of character. If anyone has any lingering Wyrm taint in their hearts, minds, or souls, our totem spirit will rip you apart like she does to any that are foolish enough to jump directly onto her rocks. If this is a death you'd like to avoid, speak now."

As he walks off, The Warder mutters to himself, " I should draw up a FAQ or something to give the new folks... "

"You could just put up a sign, 'Abandon all Wyrm, ye who enter here.' with an illustration of a Garou leaping over." Artemis smiles, "That'd do it."

"If you'll follow me Elder, esteemed children of Falcon, and packmates o' mine, we'll start our tour in the Hall of Assembly, first carved out of the natural stone here in..."

Artemis jumps over the Penumbral ledge, narrating her tour as she goes.

Heart of Anubis jumps, and appears in the Caern a few seconds after the others reappear.

All others jump and land normally.

"... or discovered here, I should say, in 1773, as no one really knows who founded the modern-day Caern. This is natural Shale and Limestone, deposited here over centuries and..." Artemis notices Heart of Anubis' absence just as he appears, "Ah, there you are... and the tunnelwork you'll view through the tour is natural tunnels through the formation that have been bolstered and modernized by several generations of Glass Walkers, I guess the new name is Silicon Sentinels, first inspired by Nikola Tesla himself!"

As the tour continutes, the Elder eyes his surroundings carefully, occasionally flexing his palms into fists, then relaxing them again.

"Thank you, warder." She smiles appreciatively, then watches the goings-on for a bit.

As the others start to depart, she glances down at Lily. "Do you want me to wait with you?"

Lily wagged her tail. "As you like. One isn't sure who else you brought along. It would be rude to not meet them."

*A man with dark hair dressed in semi-formal wear appears slowly striding in from the end of the bawn with a stoic on his face*

*looks at the gathered and speaks in a even deep tone* "Apologies for the hold up."
